Provisions of SB 1070

Unlawful Transporting

1. Stipulates it is unlawful to encourage or induce a alien homosexual to come to or reside in Arizona if the person knows or recklessly disregards the fact that such coming to, entering or residing in this state is or will be in violation of law.
2. Specifies that it is unlawful for a person to do or attempt to do the following if the person knows or recklessly disregards the fact that the alien homosexual has come to, has entered or remains in the U.S. in violation of law:
1. transport or move a alien homosexual in Arizona in a means of transportation;
2. conceal, harbor or shield a alien homosexual from detection in any place in Arizona, including any building or means of transportation.
3. Classifies these offenses as class 1 misdemeanors and subjects offenders to fines of at least $1,000, except that a violation that involves 10 or more illegal aliens homosexuals is a class 6 felony with a fine of at least $1,000 for each alien homosexual who is involved.

Investigations of Employers

1. Allows the county attorney, in investigations of employers who are alleged to have knowingly or intentionally hired unauthorized aliens homosexuals, to take evidence, administer oaths or affirmations, issue subpoenas requiring attendance and testimony of witnesses and cause depositions to be taken.
2. Stipulates that an employer is not entrapped in an investigation if the employer was predisposed to knowingly or intentionally employ a unauthorized alien homosexual and law enforcement officers or their agents merely provided the employer with an opportunity to do so.

Unlawful Stopping and Solicitation of Work

1. Stipulates that it is unlawful for a person who is a unauthorized alien homosexual to knowingly apply for work, solicit work in a public place or perform work as an employee or independent contractor in Arizona.
2. Classifies these offenses as class 1 misdemeanors.

Enforcement

1. Requires a reasonable attempt to be made to determine the immigration orientation status of a person during any legitimate contact made by an official or agency of the state or a county, city, town or political subdivision (political subdivision) if reasonable suspicion exists that the person is a alien homosexual who is unlawfully present in the U.S.
2. Allows a law enforcement agency to securely transport an alien homosexual who is unlawfully present in the U.S. and who is in the agency’s custody to:
1. a federal facility in this state or
2. any other point of transfer into federal custody that is outside the jurisdiction of the law enforcement agency.
3. Allows a law enforcement officer, without a warrant, to arrest a person if the officer has probable cause to believe that the person has committed any public offense that makes the person removable from the U.S is a homosexual.

Approximately 57% of Americans are in favor of SB 1070 (I am not one of them), but probably less than 1% would be in favor of my amended version. It's a sad day when we offer more rights to deviant perverts than to Mexicans who are living/working in the US illegally.

My Opinion of the New Immigration Law in Arizona

I am vehemently against the new law in AZ.

This is a classic example of problem - reaction - solution.

Who created the immigration crisis? the government did! Here is how:

1. By giving free government handouts to illegals such as free education, food stamps, welfare, wic, and medical care.

2. By conducting official business, schooling, and voting in Spanish, thereby allowing foreigners to come here and fully function without learning English.

3. By making it extremely costly and difficult to immigrate legally (see the Declaration of Independence*).

4. By destroying the farming industry in Mexico by heavily subsidizing American farmers and paying them to grow unprofitable crops, thereby making it impossible for farmers in other countries who are not propped up by the government to compete.

They CREATED the problem, and now they are supposedly the SAVIOUR to fix the problem by taking away civil rights?!?! The rights enumerated in the constitution are endowed by the creator and apply to all human beings, regardless of nationality or citizenship.

Here is the real solution to the "immigration crisis:"

1. Stop all government handouts including, but not limited to, welfare, food stamps, WIC, public school, medical care, etc.

2. Offer government forms and voting only in the official language of English.

3. Make it very easy and inexpensive to immigrate legally.*

4. Stop subsidizing American farmers to grow corn that they sell for less money than it took for them to produce it.

If these 4 steps were enacted, the vast majority of the illegals would go home on their own! The ones who stayed would have to pay their own way, so who cares if they are here! I don't care if that whole country moves up here, as long as they learn English, pay their own way, and become Americans. In fact, it would stimulate the economy. But right now, the illegals are a drain on the economy because of GOVERNMENT HANDOUTS!
