People like that are hard to come by these days.Nikkihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00222620270284350456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26603446.post-88940771443643174842008-10-06T21:45:00.000-07:002008-10-06T21:45:00.000-07:00Wow! I never met my grandparents on my mom's side. Well, ok, my grandma held me as a baby but passed before I was a todler. I don't remember meeting her. And as you know my family on my dad's side is unfortunately JW. BUT my grandma's late husband's mother was saved. I never talked to her about the Lord but I wish I would have! She always was my favorite. I couldn't really connect to anyone in the family on my dad's side-except her. I never could figure out why I loved her so much. After she died I was so sad-until I found out she was a believer and I realized I would see her again someday!! I cried histerically when I got the call but stopped suddenly when they said "Your great grandma Johnny was a baptist!!" Reading your grandpa's letter reminded me of my Grandma Johnny. Thanks Pastor! :)Amanda @ HappyThymehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11148874135290293737noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26603446.post-64962869596655534362008-10-27T11:03:00.000-07:002008-10-27T11:03:00.000-07:00WOW! Like Amanda, it reminded me of my Grandma. She was the one to take me to church as a child, and planted the seed in me, when my foolish parents & older siblings thought church was lame. I also was given her KJV bible with all her notes & markings. It thrills my soul to read those notes! I did not get saved until after she went to be with the LORD, and now I see that Grandparents like these are treasures! I can't wait to worship the LORD in heaven with them for eternity!!!!Mrs. Wilsonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15730564670461746099noreply@blogger.com
